Robin and Little John gets to know each other

And as I visited my friend Perry in Nottingham we just had to go to the Sheerwood Forest.

And look, I ran into Robin and Little John.

 

 

 

More about Robin Hood
The story tales that this is the oak that Robin and his merry men was hiding in. This was in the 12th or 13th century, no one knows for sure.
Well, this Oak is about 800 years old. That would make this tree a very young tree in the 12th century and if Robin and his men was hiding in it, they would have had to be very small.
I don't think this oak was around at that time but it is a nice story.

And this is the end of my trip to Scotland and England in the year 2002.
The worst part of this trip was the fact that I got sick in York, that took a lot of strenght out of me

But I blame Durham for that.
