My first day in Scotland. We went to lots of places and I just wanted to sleep. At our first stop I'd been awake for about 30 hours.

And who is Wallace you wonder. Well, he was a worrier in Scotland, freedom fighter maybe. You can also take a look at Mel Gibsons film "Braveheart" and you will know who he was.

After walking up a hill for what seemed like miles, I had to climb stairs to see this wonderful led mirror of William Wallace.

We also went to a favourite spot of mine... a graveyard. I don't know what it is about graveyards but I just love them.

Balquhidder Kirkyard, Trossachs

This is the graveyard where Rob Roy is buried. Who?? you wonder. Another hero of Scotland and another film. "Rob Roy" with Liam Neeson.

It might be the tranquillity or just the history of the dead. I might be a freak as well, I don't know. Any ideas??

Time for a little walk and a cup of coffee. Kilchurn castle is a very nice place to stay

Kilchurn Castle.
Great place, wonderful. A place where the boys takes their clothes of and have a bath. Coffee and horses running around.

Walking around the castle, standing in the grass, feel how your feet get wet because you're in the water

I would not have any problem living here. Wonderful... but then again it is summer.

In 1719 the castle was defeated by the four English frigates and fell to ruins for 200 years

The castle was abandoned in 1760

Just lovely. Love to have a seat...but where..there are bird dropping everywhere.

And we did NOT take the ladder
(there's a story to that, I might tell you one day)
